Vacancy: Project Coordinator with Knowsley Disability Concern

‘A Good Life’ is an ambitious project provided by Knowsley Disability Concern (KDC), in partnership with Better Lives; Sight and Mind; and Tailored Advice Services in the Community (TASC). The project will provide wrap-around practical support for adults in Knowsley who are disadvantaged for any reason, be it poverty, disability, age or other circumstances which prevent them from having ‘a good life’.

We are seeking to appoint a full time Project Coordinator to lead the delivery of the service, manage referrals and organise activities to bring clients together.

Job Title: Project Coordinator

Based: Huyton, Merseyside

Hours: Full Time (35 hours) part time considered

Contract: 3-year Fixed-term

Salary: £24,000 per annum

The successful applicant will have experience in coordinating services, ideally in a health/social care setting, with strong leadership skills and the ability to deliver awareness-raising and promotional activities. Good IT skills and familiarity with the Outcomes Star™ model of measuring change when working with people will be a distinct advantage (training will be provided).

This is a pivotal role and an exciting opportunity to contribute to the continued development of a successful initiative to help disadvantaged people in Knowsley.
