VOLA is launching the final funding round of the Liverpool City Region UKSPF Digital Connectivity for Community Facilities Grants programme, with applications opening on 23rd September 2024. Local VCFSE organisations can apply for grants of up to £10,000 to improve their digital connectivity, with funds being awarded between late November and early December.
Since the programme began, 158 grants have been awarded, distributing over £1.1 million to 142 LCR-based VCFSE sector organisations. The final round offers up to £160,000 in additional funding to eligible applicants.
To help organisations prepare, VOLA will be hosting a series of online briefing sessions. These sessions are designed to provide vital information about the fund’s purpose, eligibility criteria, application process, and what can and cannot be funded.
Online Briefing Sessions:
- Thursday 19th September, 3.00 – 4.15pm. Book your place here
- Friday 20th September, 12.00 – 1.15pm. Book your place here
These initial sessions will cover the fund’s aims and eligibility requirements. A second, more in-depth session will take place just before the application window opens:
- Monday 23rd September, 1:00 – 2:30pm. Book your place here
This session will focus on the technical considerations of developing public-access computer facilities. Participants will receive tips on what to purchase, key considerations, and best practices for creating accessible and efficient digital spaces.
These briefings are essential for any VCFSE organisation interested in applying for this final round of funding.
Applications for the UKSPF Digital Grants programme open on Monday, 23rd September 2024.
