Launch of NHS Cheshire & Merseyside

On July 1st 2022, history will be made as NHS Cheshire and Merseyside is established as part of 42 Integrated Care Systems across England. The existing clinical commissioning group infrastructure will be replaced by nine borough ‘Places’ working to improve health and care outcomes under the umbrella of the new organisation – a statutory Integrated Care Board.
