We are delighted to announce that Racheal Jones, our esteemed CEO, has been named a finalist in the Merseyside Women of the Year (MWOTY) awards 2025.
Racheal is one of 16 exceptional women from across the Liverpool city region who have been recognised ahead of the awards’ 15th anniversary edition. Notably, she is one of two Knowsley women to be included among the finalists this year.
The Merseyside Women of the Year awards celebrate women who are driving change and improving lives across Merseyside and beyond through business leadership, voluntary and community work, charitable organisations, and entrepreneurial and creative endeavours.
The finalists represent inspiring women using their time, skills, and expertise to help others, inspire change, and make the region a better place. The awards aim to provide a spotlight and platform for these deserving individuals.
Racheal’s shortlisting is a proud moment for One Knowsley and the wider Knowsley community, recognising her profound influence and tireless efforts in making a difference.

The overall ‘Merseyside Woman of the Year 2025’ will be revealed during a glittering awards ceremony on Friday, 27th June, at the Crowne Plaza in Liverpool City Centre.
The winner is selected based on a combination of a public vote, contributing 50% of the final score, and the organisation’s judging panel criteria, which makes up the remaining 50%.
The public vote is open until midnight on Sunday, 1st June 2025.
